SharpGrade describes our pivoting blade design. This design works because all SharpGrades are ultra rigid. Rigidity is the only way a load can efficiently be transferred from base machine to attachment. CTL's cannot trim when material is packed in the blade, so we use at minimum; one moving blade to eject material from packing between blades.

The ability to operate one side of the blade without influencing the position of the opposite side means we can grade much quicker and accurately. The opposite side (depicted by the arrow) was 100% on grade (the same height as the SharpGrade's wing) but was forced completely off grade by the opposite side. It is a control system's worst nightmare.
